How to Report a UPI Scam?

In case you’ve been scammed through a UPI fraud, follow the steps given below:

    Immediately report the UPI ID on your UPI account

    Change all passwords for the accounts where your information may have been compromised.

    Write down as many details of the compromised information and how the UPI fraud occurred.

    Visit a police station to file an FIR.

    File a complaint through the official National Cyber Crime website https://cybercrime.gov.in

    The toll-free number of the Cyber Crime Cell for any assistance required whilst filing a complaint is 1930.
