How to Settle a Claim for Term Life Insurance Plan?

Contact the home branch from where the insurance policy was bought.
Fill out a Claim Intimation form– 3883, 3801 and NEFT form.
Submit the filled form with the relevant supporting documentation such as disability certificate or death certificate in case the claim is raised by the nominee.
Write a letter explaining the reason of demise of policy holder, date and time if claim made by nominee.
Along with NEFT form, nominee is required to submit cancelled cheque and copy of bank passbook
