Difference between UPI and mobile wallets

UPI	Mobile Wallets
The transaction takes place directly between two bank accounts.	Money is sent from the sender’s bank account to the receiver’s bank account via a mobile wallet.
A UPI transaction record will say “received from XYZ” in the new passbook statement.	The transaction will display “received via PayTm\|PhonePe \|GPay”
Payments require a virtual ID and a UPI Pin.	Payment takes place between two phone numbers.
