How to open a bank account online?

Search for “Open a Bank Account Online” on Google
Check the names of banks as you scroll through the list
Choose a bank whose branch exists in your town.
Check for zero balance account opening option or call the bank and enquire about the same.
Keep your original and scanned documents ready.

Documents Required

Keep the digital copies of these documents ready for uploading online –

Aadhar Card
Identity Proof– could be driving license, PAN Card, voter’s ID etc.
Address proof- This could be electrcity bill license, voter’s ID card, passport etc.
Passport Size Photos-Two most recent copies of passport size photos

To Open Bank Account Online

With all re-required documents in place, you are now ready to begin your online bank application.

Go to your chosen bank’s website.
Select the ‘Open an Account” option
In types, select the “No-frills” or “Zero Balance” option. With this, you won’t have to maintain a minimum balance.
Enter your Full Name, Mobile Number and Email Address
Click on Open Account
Fill the KYC form and wait for it to be validated and approved. Once the validation process is complete, book a date and time for your video KYC.
