What Does a Debit Card Look Like?

The card holder’s name is at the bottom of the front side of the card.

Next to this is the validity expiration date in the form of MM/YY.

This refers to the date until which you can use the card. Once this date is passed, will need to issue a new card from bank

A 16-digit card number and a microchip contain unique information related to your bank account.

The network processor’s name or service provider’s name is also mentioned on the card. Examples include, Rupay, Visa, Mastercard etc.

On the back of your debit card, is the CVV number. It is a 3-digit code required for verifying your card while making an online payment.

NEVER share the CVV code with anyone. This is a secret PIN

On the back of your card, you will also find the magnetic strip. The debit card communicates with the machines through this strip.
