How to make a complaint to the RBI?

You can lodge a complaint using either of five methods listed below:

  • Fill out the complaint form here:

 

  • Submit this form to a third party Ombudsman who will help you resolve the complaint.

OR

Go to this link and follow the steps given below:

 

  • Click on “File a complaint”

 

  • Enter CAPTCHA for verification

 

  • Enter your full name and mobile number.

 

  • An OTP will be sent to your number. Enter the OTP and click on the submit button.

 

  • Enter your email address, and verify through OTP.

 

  • Fill-in personal information and details of your bank in the online form.

 

  • Answer the multiple-choice questions about your complaint on the website.

 

  • Enter details of the complaint.

 

  • Upload relevant and supporting documents

 

  • Click on review and submit

 

  • Verify that you have filled-in the correct details on the “Summary” page

 

  • After verifying, click on submit.

Using the CPGRAMS Portal

Using the CPGRAMS Portal

CPGRAMS is a portal where you can file your complaints relating to all financial matters.

Access the portal here and keep in mind the following:

 

  • You need not identify which authority (RBI, SEBI, PFRDA, AMFI, etc) to make the complaint to. Your complaint will automatically be sent to the correct authority.

 

  • You will get a resolution to your grievance within 30 days.

 

  • If you are dissatisfied with the resolution, you can file an appeal on the same portal.
