Raw-Material

A raw material, also known as a feedstock, unprocessed material. It is the basic material used at the beginning or the first stage of the manufacturing of goods.

Example:
For example, if you want to make a clay pot, your raw material would be clay. Similarly, to make a thermos, raw materials would be plastic and steel.
