.Let’s say you want to withdraw money from an ATM. You insert your ATM card into the card slot as usual, but the machine doesn’t seem to recognize it. You try to reinsert the card several times, but it still doesn’t work. Frustrated, you walk away from the machine, leaving your card inside
Unknown to you,, there is a small device, called a Lebanese loop, inside the card slot. The device is designed to trap your card inside the slot so that the fraudster can retrieve it later. The fraudster might also place a small camera nearby to capture your PIN number as you enter it.
