Indirect Tax

A percentage of the total price of goods and services we buy, goes to the government as tax. This tax is collected and paid by the companies selling goods and services.

Example:
For example, GST and Customs duty. You might have paid GST at a restaurant or paid additional Customs duty on a bottle of wine that is imported from Germany.
