If you are not happy with the service provided by the banking correspondents or there has been serious error or failure in their operation, you can file a complaint against them. 

In case of misconduct, directly go ahead with the complaint.

For this, you can follow these steps: 

  • First, ask the correspondent why the error has occurred. 

 

  • Complaint to the bank branch from where the banking correspondent is associated.

 

  • You can approach the branch manager with a letter addressing the complaint. 

 

  • If not resolved at this level, you can take the complaint to the Zonal head of the bank 

 

  • If your complaint is still unresolved, you can write to the Principal Nodal Officer of the Bank’s Head Office.

 

  • If even after this stage it is unresolved, you can complain to the District Consumer Forum.
