Email Spoofing is a form of cyber fraud where the attacker sends an email from a trusted company, friends, relative, or through your boss’s email ID.
The email addresses used seem real, and can bypass spam filters placed in email settings, leading people to believe they are genuine emails.
Email spoofing generally asks for immediate action where a target needs to click on a link in the email, which will either:
Redirect the target to a fake website which will be used to steal login information
Install malware into the system of whoever clicks on the link
