How to Close an INSS-C Investment?

• Your INSS-C investment will automatically close on maturity 
• On maturity, your principal amount plus your returns will together be credited to your bank account mentioned in the application form

• Partial withdrawal is not allowed in INSS-C
• Premature withdrawal in INSS-C is allowed for senior citizens after completing one year from the deposit date
• For others, premature withdrawal is allowed after three years from the deposit date

What is the penalty for premature withdrawal of INSS-C?

For premature withdrawal penalty would be half of the previous interest amount. For example, if the interest amount for the last month was₹200. Then the liability for premature withdrawal would be ₹100.
