Situations Where You Can File a Complaint

You may file a Complaint if you find yourself in one of these situations:

  • Bank employees treating you unfairly at the bank 

 

  • Banks not issuing the cashback you earned

 

  • Banks overcharging (interest rate, penalty, etc)

 

  • Banks charging high registration fees in comparison with other customers

 

  • Discrimination based on caste, gender, economic status, etc

 

  • Loan credited without permission or action from account holder

 

  • Banks forcing customers to buy insurance or other bank products

 

  • Banks not sharing information when inquired

Sometimes, when you’re trying to make an online payment, your money will get cut from your account, but you will get an error message:

“Transaction Failure”

Do not panic if you see this message!

Your bank will immediately reverse this transaction and the
money will come back into your account.

If the bank does not reverse the transaction immediately, it will have to pay you ₹ 100 per day as a delay penalty.

If there is a delay in reversal, or, if the bank does not pay you the penalty money, you can file a complaint and get compensation.
