The Lebanese Loop method is when a fraudster installs a trap inside the ATM card slot, which locks the ATM/debit card inserted into the machine.

When the card gets locked, the unsuspecting person might leave the ATM without their card, thinking the machine is stuck, and the fraudster comes and retrieves the card from the machine.
