How to Deposit a Cheque?

To deposit a cheque in a bank, follow the steps given below:

  • Icon

    Visit your bank branch

  • Icon

    Request a Pay-In or Cash Deposit Slip.

  • Icon

    Fill the slip. Recheck after filling to make sure the details are correct.

  • Icon

    Attach the pay-in slip with your cheque, either with a stapler or pin.

  • Icon

    Drop the attached slip and cheque into the cheque drop box.

The bank will process the cheque into your bank account within 10 days. You will receive an SMS once this is done.
