What to Do in Case of Theft, Loss or Damage to Aadhaar Card?

Do not worry!

Here’s how you can download a duplicate copy of your Aadhaar card, in case you have lost the original.

Go to https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/ and click on the download Aadhaar option
Once the page is open, choose enrolment number or the Aadhaar number option depending on what you have with you.
Type the enrolment number or the Aadhaar number in the given space.
Enter your full name and PIN code.
Enter the CAPTCHA code. (CAPTCHA code is the letters and numbers on the image.)
Enter your mobile number and click on the Get One time Password.
OTP (One-time Password) will be sent to the registered number.
Enter the OTP.
Now click on the ‘Validate & Download’ button.
Your duplicate Aadhaar card will download on your device.
Use PIN code as password to open the downloaded document (in pdf format).
Take a print out of this document.
